Creative Data Solutions, Inc. is undergoing a phased project that will enable Volusia County Clerk of Court to achieve 3 main goals in implementing a Case Management System.

Those goals are:

- Full real-time integration, using GJXDM standards, with all local external criminal agencies. These local agencies include the Public Defender, State Attorney, Sheriff, Jail, Urinalysis Testing Facility, and Clerk’s internal Citation and Cashiering
- Increased productivity
- Streamlined business rules

For a project period of July 5, 2005 through April 1, 2006, Creative Data Solutions, Inc. worked directly with Unisys Corp. and Volusia County end users and IT staff to develop a Functional Design Specification, Technical Architecture Specification, JIEM Exchange Message Definitions, Data Conversion Plan, Testing Plan, and Training Plan to effectively execute a Phase II implementation project.

Phase I of the Volusia County Integrated CJIS project was completed successfully, on time and within budget.

Beginning January 1, 2007 Creative Data Solutions, Inc. and Unisys began working with Clerk and County users and IT staff towards successfully implementing a real-time, fully-integrated Criminal Justice Information System.

Phase II of the Volusia County Integrated CJIS project has a phase implementation approach with the Clerk of Court Case Management System scheduled for a May 2008 production cut-over. Currently the implementation project is running on schedule and within budget.
